TO ALL CONTESTANTS, AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Don’t forget if you have received a report card since the last rodeo (Deland), you will need to turn in a copy of your report card at the Fellsmere rodeo!  I will be checking the Report Card schedules you turned in at your first rodeo to see who should be turning in a copy.  If you made any changes in the school you attend, I will need an updated report card schedule from the school.  Remember NO REPORT CARD, NO RODEO!  Also you must have a 2.0 GPA or better to rodeo.  Any questions contact me as soon as possible.  See you at Fellsmere! Team Roping has being rescheduled - we will be having it Saturday night (February 20th) at the Fellsmere rodeo. We will be having a team roping with a youth roping – details to come

 We had Great Success = we are going to do a "yard sale" again at the February rodeo - Fellsmere.  Anything to do with rodeo...  hand me down clothes, hats, boots, belts, anything to do with rodeo... tack... anything.  All proceeds will go to the AFJRA.  Everybody needs to go thru their stuff and bring it to Deland. We'll need some volunteers to help run the booth. FUNDRAISER ~ AFJRA Jackets - we will be selling  again this year for those who wish to purchase them, please see Brian.  Cost $95.00 each

FUNDRAISER ~  We're going to be selling t-shirts and hoodies at the next rodeo.  Cristi Paschal will have order forms for t-shirts and hoodies at the September rodeo.  The t-shirts will have the AFJRA Logo on the back and AFJRA 2009-2010 Rodeo Season on the front left.  The hoodies will have the logo on the front. Youth shirts are $13 for short sleeve and $16 for long sleeve.  Adults are $15 for short sleeve and $18 for long sleeve. Price for the hoodies coming soon.  If you have any questions you can contact Cristi at canonflash@aol.com or (772) 528-0892

Optional “JACKPOT" will be offered again this year.  The events are Steer Undo, Tie Down, Barrels, Breakaway, Goats and Poles.  The other events can be added if enough interest is there.  Cost:  $10.00 per event  - per day  -   CASH ONLY   Jackpot entries will be taken Saturday morning only.

General Rodeo News

SATURDAY: Entries will be taken near the birdhouse from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. Rodeo will begin at 9:00 a.m. Cutting will be begin approximately 90 minutes after the Saturday performance ends.

SUNDAY: Church Service will begin at 8:00 a.m. Sunday’s Performance will begin 30 minutes after church service ends Awards Ceremony will take place after Sunday’s performance in the bleachers.

DRESS CODE:  Dress code is in effect 30 minutes prior to the start of the rodeo, within fifty (50) of the arena during the rodeo, and during the cutting.  Back numbers will be issued at the next Rodeo. 

REPORT CARDS:  If you have not turned in your report card schedule with your application which will be forwarded to your Report Card Secretary, Mr. Kris Hiatt.  No Report Card Schedule—No Rodeo—No Exceptions. 

ENTRY FEES:  Entry fees are $20 per event per day.  You need to pay your entry fees during the designated time at each rodeo.  Grounds fee are $10 per family.
